SpaceX Fanstore presents: The Adventures of Starman

The SpaceX Fanstore is adding The Adventures of Starman to its merch store.

Do you remember the SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch in 2018? Elon Musk launched a Tesla Roadster into orbit on the maiden voyage of the Falcon Heavy, the only reusable heavy-lift launch operational rocket in the world that has a payload of 141,000 pounds. It has a strengthened Falcon 9 first stage as its central core with two more as strap-on boosters. 

The Tesla Roadster also had a 'driver' by the name of Starman. Starman is a dummy dressed up in a SpaceX space suit and was jamming to some David Bowie (Space Oddity) when he was launched. This inspired Eli Burton, who many know as the My Tesla Adventure guy, to create a memorable comic about Starman. 

This comic will make history. I can see it 100 years from now being in a SpaceX museum.  The first episode in The Adventures of Starman is limited to 5,000 serially numbered copies and starts with Starman going on an adventure to space.

In an article by Clean Technica, Eli explains:

“My vision for Starman is for him to become more than a moment, but a movement. I see it as a movement where people like me who are inspired by the current space revolution strive to do their best for human advancement toward space,”

He further elaborates that he chose art because art is inspirational especially among children like his daughter. This is just the beginning of the Starman Comic Universe.
